What is Truant?

Truant Media is a project-based multidisciplinary studio that brings together creatives and organizations in collaboration to produce a broad range of commercial and art projects. Truant specializes in "transmedia storytelling", development, planning and execution of entertainment across platforms to tell a story as well as offer a consistent and dynamic user experience in each medium. Truant produces music, art and media projects to be explored by niche and large audiences, launched across web, print and exhibition experiences.

Truant was founded by Todd C. Roberts in 2002, as an outlet for unique developments in art, music and design culture that was suddenly embracing the new digital age. Truant has gone on to produce a multitude of exhibitions, publications, short films and brand-based projects including the acclaimed Black Sabbath Resurrection for Signatures Network.
